What is the SRM AP student portal?
Safety first. This is an unofficial, independent guide and does not run any SRM portal or ask for your login. Before typing your password, check that the address bar shows the official SRM domain. Never share your password or OTP with apps, seniors or websites. Third-party apps such as Class Pro and SRM Helper are not run by SRM, so think carefully before giving any third-party app your SRM AP portal password. SRM AP does not use SRMIST Academia.
SRM University AP (Amaravati) is its own university, separate from SRMIST in Tamil Nadu and Delhi-NCR. It has its own website, https://srmap.edu.in/, and its own systems. People search for it as srm ap student portal, srmap student portal, srmap student login or student portal srm ap.
The official SRM AP home page shows footer links labelled Student, Intranet, Parents and Faculty Portal, plus a Student Handbook link. These are the doors to the official portals.
Why no direct URL here? The research for this guide could not open the SRM AP portal pages or read the addresses behind those links. Rather than guess a web address, which is how students end up on fake pages, this guide sends you to srmap.edu.in and lets the official site take you there.
How to reach the SRM AP student login
- Type srmap.edu.in into your browser yourself. Do not rely on a search ad or a forwarded link.
- Check the address bar shows srmap.edu.in as the domain.
- Scroll to the footer and click the Student link (or Parents if you are a parent).
- When the login page opens, check the address bar again. It should still belong to SRM AP. If it jumps to a domain you do not recognise, stop and ask your department or the IT team.
- Sign in with the credentials SRM AP gave you at admission. Bookmark the page you reached so you do not need to search again.

SRM AP ERP and app: what is reported
A third-party article describes an "SRM AP Student Portal", an "e-Varsity" ERP covering course registration, hostel, transport and fee receipts, and a "CONNECT SRMAP" mobile interface. It gives no web addresses, and this guide could not confirm any of it on an official SRM AP page. Treat these names as reported only.
If you hear of an SRM AP app, find it through a link on srmap.edu.in or through your department's official notice, not through a random search result.
SRM AP parent portal
The SRM AP home page has a Parents link. The SRM AP parents page itself did not load during research, so the parent login address and its features are not confirmed here.
- Start from srmap.edu.in and follow the Parents link.
- Use the login details SRM AP sends to parents, not ones shared in group chats.
- Do not use SRMIST's ParentConnect or sp.srmist.edu.in parent login for an SRM AP student. Those are for SRMIST campuses.

Many tips online mix the two. A guide for SRM Academia login does not apply to SRM AP.
SRM AP CGPA and attendance
No official SRM AP grading or CGPA conversion document was found during research. The SRMIST rules (O, A+, A and so on, with CGPA x 10 as percentage) come from SRMIST's own regulations and should not be assumed for SRM AP.
The maths of a credit-weighted SGPA and a simple attendance percentage is the same everywhere, so the CGPA calculator and attendance calculator still work if you type in the grade points and threshold given in your SRM AP Student Handbook.
Cannot log in to the SRM AP student portal?
- Recheck the address bar. A wrong domain is the first thing to rule out.
- Use the password reset option on the official login page, if one is shown.
- Contact your department, faculty advisor or the university's IT support through contact details published on srmap.edu.in.
- Never send your password or OTP to anyone who messages you offering to "fix" your account.
Once you reach the real portal from srmap.edu.in, save it as a bookmark. That one habit protects you from most fake login pages.
