The official SRM student portal for SRMIST students is Academia at academia.srmist.edu.in, and exams, fees and results sit on the Student Portal at sp.srmist.edu.in. srmstudentportal.com is an unofficial, independent help guide. It is not run by or linked to SRMIST, SRM University AP, SRM University Sonepat, SRM University Sikkim or any SRM group college, and it never asks for your login.
To reach an official portal, type the address yourself or open it from the official SRMIST Students page at www.srmist.edu.in/students. This guide explains what each system does, which one your campus uses, and where to find results, fees and admissions information.

Which SRM are you at?
"SRM" covers several separate institutions. SRMIST is one deemed university with campuses in Chennai, Trichy and Delhi-NCR. SRM University AP, SRM University Sonepat and SRM University Sikkim are separate universities, and colleges like Easwari and Valliammai are Anna University affiliated colleges. Each one has its own student system, so start by finding yours.

"SRM NCR" can mean two different places: the SRMIST campus at Modinagar, Ghaziabad (uses SRMIST systems) or SRM University Delhi-NCR at Sonepat (a separate university with a different grading scale). SRMU Lucknow (Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University) and SRMS Bareilly (Shri Ram Murti Smarak Trust) are reported to be unrelated to the SRM group.

The official SRM student portal systems explained
SRMIST students use more than one login. Here is what each official system is for, as listed on the SRMIST Students, Parents and Controller of Examinations pages.
Academia (academia.srmist.edu.in)
SRMIST labels Academia as its "Student Portal". Students use it day to day for attendance, timetable and marks. The step-by-step guide is on SRM Academia login.
Student Portal (sp.srmist.edu.in)
The Student Portal for the Faculty of Engineering and Technology is where you pay tuition and exam fees, download your online hall ticket, see examination results and apply for review of answer scripts.
StudentConnect and the JUNO Campus app
StudentConnect at studentconnect.srmist.edu.in is the newer portal for the 2025 batch onwards. Its official user manual (July 2025) says it is for 2025-26 batch students in Medicine and Health Sciences, Law, Management, and Science and Humanities, not Ph.D. students. The mobile version is the "JUNO Campus: Student" app linked from the SRMIST Students page. You sign in with Google using your SRM email, or scan a QR code. It shows attendance, internal marks, fees and receipts, hostel allocation, leave and more.
The Students page labels StudentConnect simply as "2025 batch onwards", but the manual limits it to the four faculties above. Engineering students should follow what their department says.
ParentConnect and the parent login
Parents of 2025 batch students onwards can use ParentConnect at parentconnect.srmist.edu.in for academic, hostel, transport and fee details. Parents of older batches have a parent login on the Student Portal. SRMIST lists parent helpline numbers +91-044 27455510 and 044 47437500 on its Parents page.
NetID and password reset (ssp.srmist.edu.in)
Your NetID is the part of your SRM email before the "@". Student email IDs follow the format AA9999@srmist.edu.in and run on Google Workspace. If you forget your password, the official reset steps are:
- Type ssp.srmist.edu.in into your browser yourself.
- Type your NetID and the captcha.
- Enter the OTP sent to your personal email.
- Set a new password that meets the rules on screen. It must not contain your name or NetID.
- Wait for the success message, then sign in again.
Five wrong password attempts within 5 minutes locks the account for 10 minutes, so stop and wait rather than guessing. For help, the ITKM service desk is at sd.srmist.edu.in, phone 044-2741 7320 (Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Saturday 9 AM to 4 PM).
Stay safe with your SRM login. srmstudentportal.com is an unofficial guide and never asks for your NetID, password or OTP. Before you type your password, check that the address bar shows an official SRM domain such as academia.srmist.edu.in or sp.srmist.edu.in, not a look-alike spelling.
- Never share your password or OTP with apps, seniors, group admins or websites, even if they say they are from SRM.
- Third-party apps and sites such as Class Pro, SRM Helper, Academia scraper APIs and attendance Chrome extensions are not run by SRM.
- Your NetID works as single sign-on, so the same password opens your SRM Google email, Drive and ERP access. Giving it to an app gives that app the same access. Think before you hand it over.
- If you think your password has leaked, reset it yourself at the official reset portal and contact the ITKM service desk.

CGPA and attendance tools
Two free calculators on this site work in your browser and need no login.
- SRM CGPA calculator: uses the SRMIST 2021 regulations grade points (O = 10, A+ = 9, A = 8, B+ = 7, B = 6, C = 5, F = 0). SRMIST's rule for equivalent percentage is CGPA x 10.
- SRM attendance calculator: SRMIST requires at least 75 percent attendance in each course. Below that, a student is not allowed to write the end semester exam and gets an "I" grade.
These rules are from the SRMIST B.Tech and M.Tech Integrated Regulations 2021. Other programmes, SRM AP and SRM Sonepat have their own rules. Sonepat, for example, uses an S to F scale.
Exams and results
For SRMIST, the Controller of Examinations runs exams and results.
- Hall tickets are downloaded online from the Student Portal.
- Results are published on the Student Portal. The results shown on the website are "for immediate information".
- Review of answer scripts is for theory courses only. You apply through the Student Portal within the deadline and pay the fee the notice sets.
- Exam timetables are on the official examination time tables page at srmist.edu.in.
For Engineering and Technology in 2026-27, the official schedule lists odd semester theory exams as tentative from 25 November 2026 for II to IV year and from 14 December 2026 for I year. Check the latest circular before planning.

Fees and admissions
Current SRMIST students pay tuition and exam fees through the Student Portal. For admission, SRMJEEE is the entrance test for B.Tech, and it is accepted across SRMIST campuses and the SRM universities at Sonepat, Amaravati (AP) and Sikkim.
- SRMJEEE 2026 ran in three phases (April, June and July 2026). The application fee was Rs 1,400 per application.
- As of mid-September 2026, Careers360 reported that no SRMJEEE 2027 dates had been announced.
- B.Tech CSE at Kattankulathur is listed at Rs 4,75,000 per year in tuition on the SRMIST programme page, which does not print the academic year. Hostel, mess and exam fees are extra.

Is srmstudentportal.com the official SRM student portal?
No. It is an unofficial, independent guide with no login. The official SRMIST portals are academia.srmist.edu.in and sp.srmist.edu.in, linked from srmist.edu.in/students/.
What is the SRM student login URL?
For SRMIST, Academia is at academia.srmist.edu.in. Fees, hall tickets and results are on sp.srmist.edu.in. Some 2025 batch students in non-engineering faculties use studentconnect.srmist.edu.in.
I forgot my SRM NetID password. What do I do?
Use the official reset portal at ssp.srmist.edu.in. You type your NetID and captcha, then an OTP sent to your personal email, then a new password. For help, contact the ITKM service desk at sd.srmist.edu.in.
Are Class Pro and SRM Helper official SRM apps?
No. They are not run by SRM. Your NetID password also opens your SRM email and Drive, so think carefully before giving any third-party app your Academia password.
Which portal do SRM AP students use?
SRM University AP is a separate university with its own portal, linked from the Student and Parents links on srmap.edu.in. SRMIST portals like Academia are not for SRM AP students.
Can parents check attendance and fees?
Yes. Parents of 2025 batch SRMIST students onwards can use ParentConnect at parentconnect.srmist.edu.in. Parents of older batches use the parent login on the Student Portal.
