SRM Phase 2 result 2026: what happened next
Phase 2 was the busiest search of the season. After the 22 June result (reported), Phase 2 candidates moved into their own counselling round. As reported by Careers360, Phase 2 choice filling ran 24 to 26 June 2026, seat allotment was on 30 June 2026 and the full fee was due by 7 July 2026.
Students who were unhappy with their Phase 1 rank could also take Phase 2, because SRM requires a separate application for each phase. The official page does not explain in detail how ranks from different phases are compared, so check the information brochure for the 2027 cycle.
How to check SRMJEEE results and download the rank card
SRM publishes results online after each phase. The general steps, based on the official SRMJEEE page:
- Open the official SRMJEEE page at srmist.edu.in/srmjeee and follow the results link for your phase.
- Log in with your application number and date of birth.
- View and download your rank card.
- Save a PDF and a printout. You need it for counselling, document checks and education loans.
This is an unofficial guide and does not host any result link. Check that the address bar shows the official SRM domain before entering your application number and date of birth, and never share an OTP or password with anyone who calls or messages you about your "result" or "seat".
Counselling rounds after each result
Counselling runs separately for each phase, and choice filling is by email invitation. The 2026 schedule as reported by Careers360:
| Round | Choice filling | Seat allotment / fee | Full fee by |
|---|---|---|---|
| Phase 1, Round 1 | 7 to 10 May 2026 | 14 to 21 May 2026 | 31 May 2026 |
| Phase 1, Round 2 | 27 to 28 May 2026 | 2 to 8 June 2026 | 15 June 2026 |
| Phase 2 | 24 to 26 June 2026 | Allotment 30 June 2026 | 7 July 2026 |
| Phase 3 | 10 to 11 July 2026 | Allotment 14 July 2026 | Fee payment 14 to 20 July 2026 |
To receive the provisional allotment letter, SRM asked for Rs 10,000 registration plus Rs 1,00,000 counselling fee (Rs 1,10,000 total). Missing the deadline cancels the allotment. SRM says all fees except the registration fee are refundable as per AICTE norms.
What your rank means for fees
Your SRMJEEE rank matters twice: for which branch and campus you get, and for any tuition waiver. SRM says waivers range from 25% to 100% depending on rank and Class 12 marks, with different rank bands for each campus. For example, the scholarships page lists a Founder's 100% waiver for ranks 1 to 40 at Kattankulathur, Vadapalani and NCR, but only ranks 1 to 15 at Ramapuram and Trichy. Waivers cover tuition only. Full tables are on SRM university fees.
The scholarships page footer says it was updated in 2022, so confirm the bands in the current brochure.
Calls and messages after the SRM result
Result season is when students get the most calls from "admission consultants". Some are harmless, some are not.
Watch out for fake admission agents. SRM admission through SRMJEEE goes by rank and seat availability, and fees are paid to the institution through its official channels. Be very careful with anyone who offers a "guaranteed seat", "direct admission without rank", "management quota at a discount" or asks for cash or a payment to a personal bank account or UPI ID. This guide is unofficial and cannot promise or arrange admission. Before paying anything, confirm the step on the official page at srmist.edu.in/srmjeee and check that the address bar shows the official SRM domain.
- SRM's own counselling invitations come by email, per the official page.
- No outside person can change your rank or move you up a list.
- Save receipts for every payment and pay only through the official process.
