SRM Ramapuram is a campus of SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) in Ramapuram, Chennai, and it is one of the campuses that admits B.Tech students through SRMJEEE. Its campus website is reported to be srmrmp.edu.in, though that site did not load during research.
Public information about this campus is thinner than for Kattankulathur or Vadapalani. This independent guide sticks to what can be sourced, flags what is only reported, and tells you where to confirm the rest.

What SRM Ramapuram is
SRMIST lists Ramapuram (Chennai) among its campus locations, next to Kattankulathur, Vadapalani, Tiruchirappalli, Delhi-NCR and Baburayanpettai. That makes SRM Ramapuram part of the same deemed university as SRM KTR, not a separate university.
When this guide was researched, the campus website srmrmp.edu.in showed "Access Denied", so its faculty list and campus facts could not be checked. That is why this page is shorter on detail than other campus pages.
SRM Ramapuram vs Easwari Engineering College
Two different SRM-named engineering institutions are in Ramapuram, and people mix them up all the time.
| SRMIST Ramapuram | Easwari Engineering College | |
|---|---|---|
| Status | Campus of SRMIST, a deemed university | College affiliated to Anna University, autonomous since 2019 (reported) |
| Degree from | SRMIST | Anna University system |
| Website | srmrmp.edu.in (reported) | srmeaswari.ac.in (reported) |
| NIRF 2025 | Ranked as part of SRMIST | Engineering band 101 to 150 |
If someone says "SRM Ramapuram", ask which one they mean. Easwari is covered on SRM group colleges.
SRM Ramapuram courses
No official course list could be opened. What can be said:
- B.Tech is offered, since SRMJEEE lists Ramapuram as a participating campus and Careers360 reports Ramapuram B.Tech fees for branches from Civil and Mechanical to CSE AI and ML.
- SRM Dental College, an SRMIST dental college launched in 1995 to 1996, is reported to be located at Ramapuram. It was ranked 8th in NIRF 2025 Dental.
For other programmes, check srmrmp.edu.in or the SRMIST programme pages, and look at the SRMIST overview for the full faculty list.
SRM Ramapuram fees structure (reported)
The official Ramapuram fee page could not be loaded. Careers360 publishes these B.Tech tuition figures under a "previous year" heading. They are unverified:

| Civil, EEE, Mechanical | Rs 1,50,000 |
| Biomedical, Biotech, ECE, ECE Data Science | Rs 1,75,000 |

Rank-based waivers at Ramapuram
The official SRMIST scholarships page gives Ramapuram its own SRMJEEE bands, wider than KTR's:
- Rank 1 to 15: Founder 100%
- 16 to 45: Merit 100%
- 46 to 100: 100%
- 101 to 200: 75%
- 201 to 300: 50%
- 301 to 1000: 25%
- 1001 to 5000: 10%
Waivers cover tuition only and seats in each band are limited. The page footer is dated 2022, so confirm against the current SRMJEEE brochure.
Portals for Ramapuram students
As an SRMIST campus, Ramapuram uses SRMIST's central systems listed on the official Students page: Academia for attendance and marks, and the Student Portal at sp.srmist.edu.in for fees, hall tickets and results. Learn the steps on the SRM Academia login guide.
This is an unofficial guide. Before typing your NetID password, check that the address bar shows the official srmist.edu.in domain. Never share your password or OTP with apps, seniors or websites. Third-party apps such as Class Pro or SRM Helper are not run by SRM, so think carefully before giving them your Academia password.
Hostel and PG near SRM Ramapuram
This guide did not find a published Ramapuram hostel fee circular. The SRMIST hostel information page is the right starting point, and the SRM hostel guide covers the KTR figures that are published. No verified data exists here on PGs near the campus, so visit before paying any deposit.
SRM Ramapuram admission route
For B.Tech, SRM Ramapuram admission runs through SRMJEEE, the common SRMIST entrance test. In 2026 there were three phases, each needing its own application at Rs 1,400. The test is a remote proctored online exam of 130 questions in 2 hours 30 minutes, with no negative marking. After results, counselling is held phase by phase and you choose campus and branch by rank.
Because Ramapuram has wider rank bands for waivers than KTR, some students with mid-range ranks compare the two campuses during choice filling. Check the SRMJEEE guide for dates and the SRMJEEE results page for phase results. For non-engineering programmes, the application process was not documented in this research.
What to confirm before you choose Ramapuram

- Get the current fee sheet from the admission office, not a blog or aggregator.
- Check that your allotment letter says SRMIST Ramapuram, not Easwari Engineering College.
- Ask about hostel availability and cost in writing.
