What SRM Vadapalani is
Vadapalani is one of the SRMIST campuses, alongside Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Tiruchirappalli, Delhi-NCR and Baburayanpettai. It is not a separate university and not an affiliated college. Students here get SRMIST degrees and follow SRMIST regulations.

Getting into SRM Vadapalani
For B.Tech, Vadapalani is one of the campuses listed on the official SRMJEEE page. You apply separately for each phase you want to take (Rs 1,400 per application in 2026), choose campus and branch at counselling, and seats are allotted by All India SRMJEEE rank and availability. To hold an allotted seat in 2026, SRM asked for Rs 10,000 registration plus Rs 1,00,000 counselling fee.
